Dr. Rachel King
Registered Psychologist

Dr. Rachel King is a Registered Psychologist in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professions (#2939; previously with the College of Psychologists of BC) practicing in child and youth psychology. As part of completing her Ph.D. in School and Applied Child Psychology at UBC, Dr. King received extensive training in assessment and intervention with neurodiverse children and youth. This included a residency in Clinical Psychology at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, with their Neuromotor and Brain Injury Rehabilitation teams, and Autism diagnostic hub. Outside of her work at Fraser Developmental Clinic Dr. King also works at Sunny Hill Health Centre at BC Children’s Hospital with the Complex Developmental and Behavioural Conditions team. Here, Dr. King provides family centred services that aim to support families through the diagnostic process while helping them to develop their understanding of their child’s strengths and needs and how these can be supported in their school and community.
